Dinner with people you haven't met yet
A social dinner is a small table at a local Calgary restaurant set aside for people who want to meet someone new. You join on JNUP, show up and share a meal with six or seven others. Food gives the night a structure, so conversation comes easily.
Sunday Supper
One of our launch formats is Sunday Supper: dinner with seven people you haven't met yet, at a neighbourhood restaurant.
What to expect
- A table for about eight
- Most people arrive on their own
- Each JNUP page says what's included and how food and drinks work
- No speeches and no icebreaker cards, just dinner
Why dinner works
Sharing food is one of the oldest ways people get to know each other. Passing a plate is easier than starting a conversation cold.
Questions people ask
- Who pays for dinner?
Each JNUP page says what's included and how food and drinks work.
- What if I have dietary restrictions?
Restaurants handle orders as usual, so order what works for you.
What can you join in Calgary?
